Heidi Davis is a native Oregonian, mother of two young girls and has worked in the social service industry for over 20 years. Heidi believes that every person deserves opportunities to thrive and succeed. She has focused much of her professional journey on empowering others towards these outcomes. Her commitment to compassion, dignity, and excellence motivates her to offer creativity and authenticity in all her pursuits. Heidi strives to bring all of who she is to every person she encounters. As a graduate of PSU’s School of Social Work in 2014, Heidi began her career at Providence Health & Services as an intern where she worked on implementing a screen and intervene program to identify patients struggling with food insecurity. Since 2016, Heidi has assisted in the
development of a comprehensive program, known as the Providence Community Teaching Kitchen, to serve local community members who lack access to healthy foods, suffer from hunger, or need to build healthier eating habits in order to prevail through disease and illness. Heidi thrives on inspiring hope and healing through mission centered leadership, collaborative relationships, building sustainable communities around access to nutritious food and promoting
the integration of social services to improve health outcomes for all. She has presented and facilitated sessions at numerous regional conferences and forums as well as contributed to various articles and publications in her field of expertise. Heidi is also a sought-after guest on a variety podcasts and speaker panels.
