Andrew Mock, MD, MPH is a Preventive, Family, Lifestyle, and Obesity Medicine trained physician. He is the Co-medical Director of Loma Linda University's Center for Health Promotion where he practices adult primary care medicine with integrated lifestyle and obesity medicine, serves at the Clerkship Director for the School of Medicine's Preventive Medicine & Population Health clerkship, and coducts Obesity Medicine research. He is a professional middleweight Strongman and currently holds the title for California's Strongest Man (3x). He also owns H.O.T. Barbell Club, a strongman and powerlifting gym in Redlands, California. He uses his passion for resitance training to improve medical education in Lifestyle Medicine. He is the author of the "Resistance & Flexibility Training" module for the Lifestyle Medicine Residency Cirriculum. His life goal is to help entire populations prevent, treat, and reverse chronic disease through Lifestyle Medicine by improving the quality of resitance traning education for the public and the medical community.
