I am a triple board-certified physician: certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism; as well as Internal Medicine and Board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. I am the medical director of Lifestyle Medicine at Middlesex Health, as the director I am tasked with creating the strategic vision, formulation and tactical implementation of our rigorous, evidence-based Lifestyle Medicine Program, as well as building an internal and external referral network for patients to utilize "Lifestyle Medicine" including its unique pillars like culinary medicine, in the care of their chronic ailments. As a senior staff attending physician in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, I routinely see complex general endocrine disorders and provides evidence-based clinical care for various hormonal disorders, including pancreatic, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, gonadal, bone & mineral metabolism diseases etc. As Associate Professor of Medical Sciences at the Frank H. Netter School of Medicine, Quinnipiac University, I teach both endocrinology, and Lifestyle Medicine to medical students, as well as am involved in CME education for Family Medicine residency program at Middlesex Health system. I was also elected to the prestigious Board of Directors of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine in Nov 2022, a medical society with over 9000 members from various healthcare professional fields, a term which I am currently serving. I have been an invited speaker at numerous regional, national, international conferences, as well as published several journal articles and textbook chapters on both endocrine topics and Lifestyle therapeutic approaches. I enjoy working with professionals from various disciplines and team members, in a collaborative, service-minded, nurturing, empathetic and uplifting environment.
