Dr. Cindy Geyer graduated with honors from the Ohio State University and completed residency in internal medicine at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y. She is board certified in internal medicine, integrative medicine and lifestyle medicine. A fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, she served on their Board of Directors and currently cochairs the Women’s Health Member Interest Group. She recently joined the team at the Ultrawellness Center after practicing 23 years at Canyon Ranch in Lenox as the medical director of their integrative health and healing team. Dr. Geyer has been on the core faculty for The Center for Mind-Body Medicine’s (CMBM) “Food as Medicine” conference for 20 years, teaching physicians and other health care professionals how to use food and lifestyle to address health concerns in their own lives and those of their patients. A clinician, educator, avid hiker and mother, she is passionate about collaborative approaches to health and wellness: from the integrative team model in working with individual patients, to community partnerships that together can effect healthy changes in the places people live and work.
